Julie is a super-confident person who loves the water and pools. She grew up near the Pacific Ocean, and loves nothing better than to head to beach and listen to the waves wash in. Julie has a Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. After graduation, she headed to DC to work in the newsroom. However, after a few years on the beat, Julie decided it was time to have a calmer life. It was at this point she became interesting in the pool industry and hasn’t regretted it once. When Julie’s not writing on all things to do with pools, she enjoys kicking back with family and friends. You may even find her doing the two-step to some classic country music.
