Pool Toy Easter Basket
It is Easter time, and there are so many different things to do for the children. The children can play with eggs, hide and seek or even have a picnic in the park. One of the most popular outdoor activities that children love to play outside is dipping into the pool.
If you or your kids are someone who owns a lot of pool toys and amenities, this is the perfect time to take them out of the storage! Read on to find out some ways to turn basic pool items into Easter baskets. This is a great idea to cut back on costs when you’re planning an Easter party.
Make an Easter Basket Out of Pool Toys and Items
You can make an Easter basket from the pool toys that you have. This pool toy basket will make the day for any child’s Easter this year.
Easter Basket with Pool Noodles and Beach Towels
One way to make an Easter basket using pool items is by using pool noodles and beach towels. To make this Easter basket, you need a beach towel of your choice, a pool noodle, and a ribbon. The amount of each item you need depends on how many baskets you’re trying to make.
In this case, the pool noodle serves as the handle. Make sure that you get a strong pool noodle so that it will hold up the basket. For the actual surface to put all the Easter snacks and gifts in, you can wrap a beach towel.
Fold your beach towels about six inches on each side, then wrap the ends of the towel around the pool noodle. Then, tie a ribbon from a strong material around it to keep it in place.
Make sure that this basket is sturdy and strong enough to hold all of the items inside.
Easter Basket with Pool Noodles and Laundry Baskets
If you don’t have enough beach towels, or if the previous method turned out to be not sturdy enough to carry all your Easter gifts, don’t worry! There are other ways of DIY-crafting an Easter Basket using other items.
If you still have enough pool noodles, you can also make an Easter basket using them and laundry baskets. For each basket you want to make, you need only one laundry basket and one pool noodle.
In this case, all you need to do is to twist the pool noodle so that it resembles a basket handle, and place it on top of the laundry basket. Tie a ribbon or something similar around it to keep it in place.
This option is much more time efficient than using beach towels, and it also involves less work. As the laundry basket is made out of hard plastic, it’s also still very sturdy, and is sure to be able to properly carry all your Easter items without breaking.
So, this is a good option for those of you who are not super crafty, or who just want something less fussy.
